Sexuality

Sexuality

What is it about sexuality that gives us such a hard time?

As sexuality is part of our nature, it can not be denied, but yet it seems to keep us tied to guilt.

We seem to be utterly confused on how to handle (our own) sexuality, most of the time we try to suppress, deny, hide, or ignore it …….. but it is there, all of the time, …….

Willingly or unwillingly we are being confronted with our own sexuality, we can “see” it everywhere, if not we can “project” it on whatever we see ……

To me, sexuality has become the profound vehicle of guilt.
Is there really guilt imbedded in our sexual nature?

This seemingly imbedded guilt makes me want to turn away from it, it becomes a taboo, a dark place of denial, but …… it still is part of my nature, so now I am trying to deny a part of myself …… then, the natural need, becomes so heavy that it transforms in “an urge” …… with a narrowing vision and a negative ring to it ….

Our natural need, which is pure, gets hijacked by guilt because we fear it. The very fear for our sexuality feeds guilt.

What does guilt do? Where does it come from?

Guilt doesn’t want to be recognised, so it uses a (our) weak spot to divert our attention.
It wants us to belief that our sexuality is the source of our guilt, and because we do not want to look properly, because we fear it, it succeeds most of the time taking us by surprise and throwing us of balance ……

Guilt and fear, they are the same, they are the source of our confusion, the source of our feel of loss, the source of our inadequacy, they are a misconception of what we truly are …

Any misconception can be corrected if we allow ourselves to forgive …… fear dissolves when looked at :-)

Religion

Religion

Atheism and Theism, aren’t they both sharing the same religion?

Ones identification with a set of beliefs, a thought system, can be called “religion”.

They seemingly oppose each other, Atheism and Theism, but don’t they both follow the same religion of Right–Wrong?

Both Theists and Atheists want us to believe that it is about content, that one of them “knows best” and that, automatically the opposing view “is wrong”…..how silly ;-)

The game of right–wrong can be played with unending subjects, and for each subject one could find an unending series of arguments to “prove” YOU are right….. but aren’t these arguments not only needed to prove to yourself that you are right?

Is there such a thing of “what is right” or “what is wrong” or are there just opinions and personal views?

If you know YOU are “right”, why would you need to prove the other “wrong”? Why would one opinion be superior to an other?

Would your opinion mean anything? Would my opinion mean anything? Hahaha don’t make me laugh…..or maybe do, make me laugh ;-)

Mental Loop

Mental loop

We judge,…. that is what we do, it means nothing unless we give meaning to it by believing it is true, that there really is a profound “right or wrong”, like an invisible universal standard that applies to all of us……this is the power of thought, seeing things that just aren’t there.

Our judgement is the source of unhappiness, when things don’t appear as (we think) they should be.

Funny thing is that it is thinking itself, that creates this unhappiness, and by its relentless “chatter” it almost convinces us that the external “failure” we think to see is the source of the unhappiness,……but in reality it is the other way round….

To gain more power, thinking enters a loop, a vicious circle, …..it starts judging its own judging….

This is a perfect recipe for a depression to kick in ….. uncontrollable thinking: a Mental Loop.

Death

Death
What is death?.......

I can see death bodies, I can see shapes change, .......but I can't see death....

Surely I have a concept of what death is,......it always appears to happen to "an other", an "object" outside of me.....

So death only can be witnessed by a "me"..... "me" being the concept of a person...

Would there be death without "me"?

If "me" ceases to be, would this also end the concept of death?
